Political contributions are not tax deductible. County law limits contributions to $500 per individual. No company checks, personal checks only. $1000 limit per couple. Spouses may write separate checks or write one check signed by both spouses if check exceeds $500. State law prohibits reimbursing donors for their contributions. Contributions from any registered lobbyists with the County of San Diego is prohibited.
